Animal Farm, our Bolehland has become?
The first debate in the new parliament descended into noisy name-calling as a newly emboldened opposition took on the government.
From Malaysiakini, Monkey and Bigfoot were two of the epithets used in a rowdy session during which lawmakers shouted and gesticulated in heated exchanges across the floor of the chamber.
Opposition Democratic Action Party chairman and lawmaker Karpal Singh began by questioning the way the session was being held when he was distracted by a government MP, Bung Moktar Radin.
"I hope Bigfoot... does not disrupt the proceedings," Karpal taunted him. "Bigfoot, sit down."
Bung sprang from his chair, shouting: "I am bigfoot, you are big monkey."
Meanwhile, the only independent MP in Parliament, Datuk Ibrahim Ali (Pasir Mas), Wednesday showed early signs that he is not pro-opposition, perhaps, a political frog.
He just kept quiet when Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor) questioned his independent status and seating position in the Dewan Rakyat as he won the seat in the March 8 election on a PAS ticket.
Things took a turn for the worse when he (Ibrahim) took to task Karpal Singh for not standing up when speaking, prompting Fong Poh Kuan (DAP-Batu Gajah) to tell him to apologise as Karpal Sing is wheelchair-bound
And, Rocky's Bru is telling the world what BABI means !

What Abdullah Badawi Doesnt Want You To See.
And so the live telecast of the Dewan Rakyat proceedings are on again but under threat to have the plug pulled by our weak PM through his custodian - Sabery Cheek. Its not because of big foot or big monkey that he wants to cancel the show, after all BN has been abusing opposition members as soon as Abdullah Badawi helmed Malaysia. The only reason is because , PM doesnt want you, the Rakyat to have any doubts about how weak his government really is. In fact, the opposition is so strong that they took the Speaker to task when he protected Abdullah Badawi from added questions. Fiery Karpal and Lim Kit Siang actually have no respect for this PM and cocked their guns to blow him away with loaded questions in Parliament. Abdullah Badawi knew it was coming..
Well Mr. PM. You still feel you have support? With your so-called marginally less than two-thirds majority?
The Ninth Malaysia plan was a non-starter to begin with. Best you can do is cling on to power and abuse Malaysia's Father of Modernisation.

Hi, thanks for dropping by.
"A weak government is not good for multi-racial Malaysia. It leads to unwarranted challenges against its authority. Governments cannot please everybody. If a Government cannot be firm and is forced to flip-flop there will be a lack of confidence which does not augur well for the smooth implementation of policies or project."
